Combe

'Combe' takes its name from the Old English word for a small valley. Inspired by the hidden valleys of the Mendip Hills in my native Somerset, this piece combines hand-stitched appliqué with traditional patchwork. Each piece is made to order in my home studio in the Somerset countryside.

Dimensions: approx. 59x77cm.
Colours: wine, taupe, hunter green, moss, charcoal and off-white.
Materials: cotton fabric, cotton wadding, organic cotton thread.
Display: A sleeve is stitched to the back for hanging, with a wooden dowel included.

All artwork is made by hand, so slight variations are part of its unique character. Colours may appear slightly different in person than they do on screen. As each piece is made to order, returns are not accepted unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.
