Sunbird

'Sunbird' is inspired by the buzzards that circle above the fields of my native Somerset. Combining hand-stitched appliqué, piecing and quilting, this design is made to order in my home studio in the Somerset countryside.

Dimensions: approx. 61 × 81 cm (24 × 31 in).

Colours: rust, off-white, ochre, charcoal.

Materials: cotton fabric, cotton wadding, organic cotton thread, beech dowel.

Display: A sleeve is stitched to the back for hanging, with a wooden dowel included.
