Solstice

'Solstice' draws inspiration from the history and traditions of midsummer in the Westcountry. Combining a sense of time and place with a contemporary approach to textile art, each piece is made to order in my home studio in the Somerset countryside.

Dimensions: approx. 87 × 47 cm (34 × 18.5 in).

Colours: taupe, gold, ochre, rust, charcoal, off-white.

Materials: cotton fabric, cotton wadding, organic cotton thread.

Display: A sleeve is stitched to the back for hanging. A wooden dowel is not included and can be purchased separately.

All artwork is made by hand, so slight variations are part of its unique character. Colours may appear slightly different in person than they do on screen.
